Kids Are Cooler Than Adults.

And the fashion world has finally figured it out.

The fashion industry is catching on to a big secret.

Designing children’s wear isn’t just good business (💸💸💸), it offers a unique freedom that’s not available with older markets.

This week, @thombrowne launched his debut children’s collection in Paris during Men’s Fashion Week. Here’s why the industry should take note:

🏁This helps to dispel the myth that adding a kid’s brand will dilute the equity (or cool factor) of an established brand

🏁His gender neutral approach underlines the fact that this is now a baseline strategy for Gen Alpha

🏁Uniform codes are a key future youth trend: it will be less about clothing as style and more about clothing as a canvas to showcase personality. Even when wearing identical clothing, it’s the unique personality of each kid that shines through.

🏁The coverage in @voguemagazine and by @timblanks for @bof speaks to the significance of this collection

So, who should add a kid’s line next? My top picks are @supremenewyork @aimeleondore @noahclothing. And, if I can squeeze myself into a kid’s size 14 you better believe that I will.
